Thailand: Hua Hin Jazz Festival
The annual Hua Hin Jazz Festival continues to grow in both popularity and professionalism, drawing visitors and musicians from Thailand and across the globe.
Multiple stages, many of which are located on the beach, feature local and international talent in this beautiful seaside town that goes all out to welcome visitors. Car parking, shuttle busses, food stalls, games, and elaborate decoration are all part of the convenient and festive atmosphere of the Hua Hin Jazz Festival, put on by the residents and business of Hua Hin.
All performances during the three-day Hua Hin Jazz Festival are free and continue from 15h30 until midnight.
No wonder this “Royal Town” is sometimes renamed “Jazz Town” when its streets are packed with music lovers of all ages, who gather to enjoy the best of jazz from both international and Asian musicians.
Hua Hin is approximately 220 km from Bangkok and is noted for being the country’s first beach resort discovered by royalty and nobility in the post war years when the only feasible way to reach its golden beaches was by steam train.
