This is the fourth album by Rosetta Trio, after "Rosetta" (2006), "Reclamation" (2010), "Thwirl" (2013). I never thought the band would still be growing after all these years, but it continues to, so I'm not going to fight it. I brought us together back in 2004 just to check out the first body of work that led to "Rosetta." I wasn't thinking into the future, at all, just needing to deal with what was going on at that time. But we've kept playing, touring, working, and the organism keeps developing. Plus, there are more things I've wanted to try in the compositions for the group as well as in its functioning.
