Peter Sprague’s Rendezvous In Reatltime
Guitarist Peter Sprague presents this unique program centered around his new composition “Rendezvous in Realtime”, a three movement piece commissioned by Chamber Music of America’s 2018 New Jazz Works grant. The sound is jazz chamber music with leanings towards the samba, flamenco, swing, and celtic. Also in the mix for this concert is Sprague’s twist and turn arrangement of Santana’s “Oye Como Va” and Peter’s evocative sonic poem “Saltwater”.
