“I had so much fun creating this album! I hope you enjoy listening to it as much asI did making it.This is the first instrumental project I went into a live studio to record. The goal was to capture the sound of an era of music that has shaped the musical landscape we have today. I studied the music of Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Art Blakey, BadBadNotGood, and Adrian Younge before writing a single note. I think I captured THE sound. What is THE sound? “Shapes Of Music, Vol. 2” fuses together Hip-Hop, Jazz, RnB and Soul to deliver, what I believe, is a modern album with a classic sound like no other. ” - Statik Link
