Lucinda’s music will transport you to a seductive and anachronistic world where jazz, soul, gypsy jazz, blues, and reggae meld together creating her unique eclectic sound.
In the ever changing industry of music, as an artist, musician, entrepreneur she picked up the skills to distribute, market, record, and sell, as a creative person. She understands the relationship between creativity and personal identity, and has taught courses in songwriting, vocals and artistic expression to students in elementary school and University.
"My inspiration for this album was a 'sound 'I discovered though ToeRag Studios which came about through recording the whole thing in a 50's analogue studio. We went old school, we mastered our work in rehearsal and recorded it on old 50' mics, mixers, desks, amps and springs. The Result of which is a warmth that cannot be recreated digitally. I'm very proud of this... oh and did I forget to mention.. it was a break up album!!! I'll be Loving you was my first song on the album,... I wrote it still crying from the break up... and I put 'Don't Go Chasing Your Heart' at the end of the album to represent the transition and realisation I'd been through, throughout the process. There's something here for everyone I hope!"

Artist Biography
Pop-noir singer-songwriter and harpist Lucinda Belle has spent the last several years conquering the United Kingdom, and is now bringing her trademark sound, melding the elegance of white-gloved classic Hollywood with smart hooks and playful pan-genre appropriation, to the United States.
Best known as a jazz-crossover singer-songwriter and harpist from London, Lucinda Belle’s musical career upended the notion of the harp as a classical instrument. At the age of 11 she had already performed for the royal family and by 21 had travelled to Nashville to infuse jazz into her classical training with major success. As a studio musician, she developed her singing and songwriting abilities and toured and collaborated with major artists, such as Natalie Cole, Annie Lennox, Robbie Williams, Petshop Boys, Gregory Porter, before launching her solo career in 2005. Going solo allowed her to expand even farther into different musical genres, from combining a baby harp with hip-hop in Philly, writing Country songs in Nashville and producing Lovers Rock/Reggae in London.
Her solo career landed her several record deals, two albums and an EP, along with touring across the UK and USA. She was an opener for the Spice Girls in 2005, performed for an audience of 80,000, and has been invited to perform for dignitaries, major artists, and organizations across the world. Lucinda’s music is a portal into a seductive and anachronistic world where jazz, soul, gypsy jazz, blues, and reggae meld together creating her unique eclectic sound.
Between 1990 and 2015, Lucinda wrote over 500 songs. Her music spanned beyond just albums, as opportunities to compose music for lm, TV, orchestras, and advertising found her unique sound and versatile approach ripe for commercial success. In 2014, she was nominated for an Oscar for Best Original Song “Going Nowhere” ( feat, Johnny Depp) which she wrote, produced, and contributed the harp, vocals and bass for. Collaborating and developing music for other artists came naturally for Lucinda, as her ability to nd the essential sound and expression in others grew from her many hours of cross collaboration between genres, geographies, and stages.
In 2015, Lucinda took her years of onstage performance to the next level. She was cast as the sultry singer, Dixie Darling in the world-renowned immersive theatre experience “The Drowned Man” by Punch Drunk in London. Her natural style and abilities landed cameo appearances in their New York show, “Sleep No More”. In 2016, after an exploration into music, emotion and neuroscience, she was invited to collaborate with St Mary’s University in a series of experimental performances on music and mood.
Today, Lucinda continues to perform around the world, and is pushing her music to the next level by combining looping technology never seen before on the harp. This technology allows her to create the effect of an orchestra live and was rst debuted on stage during her keynote talk at TEDxManchester in February, 2018.
Lucinda is unashamedly paving the way through her artistry with timeless rebellion and bold presentation. Her authentic connection to all that she does is undeniable.
This year, Lucinda will be releasing her album entitled "Think Big : Like Me" which reaffirms her revised perspective of what can be done with the harp.
“The girl with the harp is who I am.” - Lucinda Belle
