(1)  NEW CD - THE SILENT WISH - A PRE-RELEASE CONCERT AT MICHELE’S:

The Silent Wish is now in for manufacturing.  A formal release date will be set for sometime in October. (…So stay tuned!…)

In the meantime, Michele Mele (whose composition, "Cabana Boy", is one of the tunes on the album) has graciously offered to host a pre-release concert at her beautiful home in Schomberg.  I am providing details for that concert here because I have performed there on a number of occasions in the past, and these are always really nice gigs!  Furthermore, The Silent Wish CDs will be available at the concert!   (...So you can get the jump on everyone else by being there!... :-)

(2)  MONTREAL "MINI-TOUR":

As many of you may know, I don’t go out-of-town very much.  However, in late October, I will be on a "mini-tour" of Montreal which includes (i) a concert, (ii) a clinic, and (iii) a club date!  So those of you who are in and around Montreal might want to try and catch some of this "mini-tour"!

[ NOTE:  This is taking place under the auspices of Dr. Lisa Lorenzino and McGill University.  Further details regarding these late October events are set out in the gig listing below. ]


(3)  PEGGY LEE - "I’VE NEVER LEFT YOUR ARMS" - LIVE:

I’ve been listening to a LOT of Peggy Lee over the past couple of months (in part, because my Dad used to listen to her when I was growing up in Port Colborne).  Something I stumbled upon and which is not part of her discography is this live performance of "I’ve Never Left Your Arms", a rarely done tune by Lew Spence/Alan & Marilyn Bergman.  This is well worth three-and-a-half-minutes because it is a very compelling and charismatic performance!
