'Hotel Ascona Swing
Festival'
The Hotel Ascona Swing Festival, a new 'jazz
party' hosted in the beautiful four star Hotel Ascona April 23-25. 2015, is one
of the few events of its kind dedicated to the swing music of the 1930's and 1940's.
For this first edition an excellent group of international musicians
specialized in playing this particular style of jazz has been invited - next to
'Echoes of Swing' it presents Shaunette Hildabrand, Frank Roberscheuten, Colin Dawson, Chris Hopkins, Bernd Lhotzky, Henning Gailing and Oliver Mewes as
soloists. Such a line-up provides the backdrop for five diverse concerts at the
highest level for three consecutive days. Situated on the mountain overlooking
the city of Ascona and the famous Lago Maggiore,
Hotel Ascona is the perfect location for this event. The balconies extending
from the fully equipped rooms offer a breathtaking view. And the kitchen
