Hawaii: Jazz Guitarist On Big Isle Concert Tour

Italian jazz guitarist and composer Andrea Razzauti is presenting three benefit concerts on the Big Island for the Puna Community Medical Center this month.
The internationally acclaimed artist will be accompanied by violin maestro Adonijah Imgrund, Maui keyboardist Salvador Godinez and Volcano percussionist Jesse Seymour in performances on Friday, Oct. 11, at Kahilu Theatre in Waimea; on Saturday, Oct. 12, at Kilauea Theater in Volcano; and on Friday, Oct. 18, at the Honokaa Peoples Theater.
Born and raised in Tuscany, Razzauti has chosen Hawaii as his second home for the inspiration it provides him to compose. Razzauti’s musical versatility ranges from classical to contemporary jazz. His new album entitled “Front Street,” released in June 2013, was produced by two-time Grammy award winner Paul Brown and features Grammy-winning jazz vocalist Patti Austin.
