 "REMEMBERING B.E."
tribute to the great jazz pianist Bill Evans
Music composed, arranged and directed by
FRANCESCO BRANCIAMORE performed by the formation of classical music

CROSSOVER ENSEMBLE
The project dedicated to the music of jazz pianist Bill Evans, created by the musician Francesco Branciamore for classic sextet (flute, clarinet, violin, cello, piano, bass), entitled "Remembering BE", inspired by a careful analysis of everything that has been bestowed the great pianist. To date, no group and no training of this kind has ever been created by a staff like the one that will perform the music of American
musician.

The last experiment was done by the Kronos Quartet with Eddie Gomes about 20 years ago.

For this project, the composer Francesco Branciamore worked on the soul classic Bill Evans enhancing its influences from pianists such as Chopin, Ravel, Debussy and Satie, highlighting the various nuances, which is why the sound of the sextet of chamber music he has chosen is entirely appropriate and original.

The absence then improvised parts in the arrangements lend themselves to classical musicians of high profile. The songs orchestrated and arranged for the ensemble are compositions by Bill Evans as well known jazz standards he frequently played in his hands have become real compositions in his repertoire as well as two new songs that Maestro Branciamore dedicated to him. The part of the floor is entirely taken from original transcriptions of Bill Evans, all that is superimposed on this (the parts for the other five instruments) was composed and arranged specifically for this project.
