When Marvin Pryor and Nelson Render decided to take their musical talents and performance experiences to the stage, the PR Experience was born. This Atlanta based group hit the music scene in 2009 with an innovative mixture of melodies and harmonies that reflects a sleek style of Jazz, Funk and Neo Soul. The sultry sound of trumpeter Nelson Render, and the funk-o-licous sound of trombonist Marvin Pryor, defines the group’s unique sound. Along with saxophonist Kevin Shepherd, keyboardist Godfrey Grannum, bassist Ted Stewart, drummer, Marc Mays, percussionist, Brandon Caldwell, and vocalist Raquel Jones, The PR Experience is a musical collection that is sure to become a household name. 
Nominated as “Atlanta’s Hottest Band” in 2011 and 2012, The PR Experience continues to electrify audiences with their performance. They have appeared as opening acts for Eric Roberson, Alex Bugnon and have provided entertainment for celebrities such as Robin Givens, and Judge Glenda Hatchett. The PR Experience has been featured guest on Fox 5’s Good Day Atlanta, Representative Stan Watson’s Show, WCLK 91.9, Klarque Garrison’s radio talk show “The Conversation”, and JS108atlanta.com Internet radio. Their single “Ahh Baby” topped the charts at #1 on Platinummics.com for 30 weeks in 2012. The PR Experience reached #1 in the Reverbnation local charts early 2013. 
As Musicians, Marvin and Nelson have collectively toured, performed, appeared and /or recorded with noted artist such as: Cameo, Ray Charles, Third World, Donald Byrd and Heston. Currently, they serve as trombonist and trumpeter for the legendary group The Ohio Players.
