The Cavell Leitch Law JAZZ IN THE GEO will feature an eclectic mix of musical styles and artists. Perennial Jazz Festival favourite, James Morrisonreturns to once again thrill and astound Christchurch audiences – this time with our own Christchurch Symphony Orchestra - in a tribute to the great Duke Ellington.
Widely regarded as one of the world’s finest Jazz trumpeters, this multi-instrumentalist also plays trombone, euphonium, flugel horn, tuba, saxophones, and piano.
A once in a lifetime event –James Morrison in concert with the Christchurch Symphony Orchestraplaying music from one of the greatest American composers of the twentieth century.

Annie Crummer is making her debut appearance at the festival with Christchurch funk outfit, Oval Office, who over the past four years have steadily gained a reputation as one of New Zealand's top live acts.
"Ever loyal to my audience, I'll be bringing songs of my music history with a sprinkling of fresh ones from my upcoming CD, 'Project annie.c.'. I'm accompanied by close peers who happen to be exceptional musicians . . . with the added bonus of working with Oval Office."
