Bradley University Jazz Festival set for Tuesday/Peoria, Il
The eighth annual Bradley University Jazz Festival will take place Tuesday, Feb. 21, in the Michel Student Center, 915 N. Elmwood. The high school bands will perform throughout the day, starting at 8 a.m. Those performances are open to the public.
The festival will feature 14 high school bands, guest artist Wycliffe Gordon, and clinicians Mary Jo Papich, Andrew Goodrich and Larry Harms.

New Town jazz concert benefits students
As a part of the scholarship initiative, the cultural festival and New Town High School are hosting a scholarship benefit concert featuring jazz musician and Washington, D.C., native Marcus Johnson and the New Town High School jazz ensemble, Virtuosity, on March 17.
