The Queen of Soul will hold court again in Cleveland.
Aretha Franklin is booked Saturday, April 21, at PlayhouseSquare's State Theatre, as part of this year's Tri-C JazzFest. She was at the same venue in November for an American Music Masters tribute concert, although she only performed one song at the latter event. The upcoming engagement will be a full show by Franklin."I don't think it's too soon," said JazzFest organizer Terri Pontremoli."People want to see Aretha do more than one song.
