Gospel songstress Fungisai Zvakavapano-Mashavave makes an appearance at the Ladies in Jazz Festival on Sunday night. The festival, which started last night, ends on Saturday at Jazz 105.
Organiser of the festival Josh Hozheri confirmed Zvakavapano-Mashavave’s participation at the festival and said they had been negotiating for some time, but they had finally come to an agreement.

PORT HOPE — The All Canadian Jazz Festival made its name with diverse and talented homegrown performers.The 10th annual lineup comes to Port Hope this weekend, kicking off with a free Friday-night party in Memorial Park showcasing the Downchild Blues Band from 6:30 to 10 p.m.Saturday morning brings the Blow Your Own Horn jazz parade at 11:15 a.m., starting and Pine and Walton streets, then going down Walton to turn right at Queen and arrive in Memorial Park.
