Reknown jazz guitarist topic of documentary

ESCANABA - Local jazz guitarist, teacher and film producer Jay Brodersen has teamed up with WNMU Public TV 13 to air "Rhythm Is My Business" a documentary on archtop guitar and traditional jazz great, Marty Grosz. The program will air on TV 13 Thursday at 8 p.m.
At 80 years old, Grosz has been touring in nightclubs around the country and the world with his band "The Hot Winds" for over 50 years.
His loyal following has been known to travel hundreds of miles to see his shows filled with top rated jazz, unusually funny stories from Marty and some of the hottest players around.
Grosz, acoustic jazz guitar virtuoso, singer, raconteur, and arranger, was born in Berlin, Germany in 1930. His father was the famous German-American artist George Grosz.
