The
"Riverside Studios Cologne", formerly Soundstudio N, will celebrate
their own founding and the beginning of the business activities with a
very exclusive, private jazz piano solo evening on Saturday, the 8th of April at 8 pm with the 2-times Grammy Award winner Alan Broadbent from the USA at the Steinway Model D concert grand piano.
DownBeat Magazine wrote about one of Alan's concerts: "A Close Encounter with a Jazz Titan".
Before
the "Riverside Studios Cologne" will be opened and ready to be booked
from the middle of May 2017, the studios will be given a complete
facelift with new acoustics and will be the home of the label "Eden
River Records".
With
its first release "Jimmy Scott - I Go Back Home " the label was able to
make „album of the week“ in one of Germany’s most respected daily
newspapers, the Frankurter Allgemeine Zeitung, at the end of January
2017.
"Eden River Records" focuses on a variety of genres: from jazz and blues to classic.
CEO
Ralf Kemper works as a producer, composer, sound engineer and has been
working as a consultant for music and TV commercial productions for more
than 25 years. He says, "We believe in the original way of listening to
music: sit, close your eyes and let the music take you on a journey."
"Eden
River Records" is a company that was founded around the pursuit of high
quality audio recordings. It focuses on preserving and improving the
sound quality and delivers the music as beautiful and natural as
possible. Releases are available as 180 gr audiophiles vinyl format, in
carefully manufactured high-quality CDs and in high-resolution digital
formats (96khz / 24bit).
The mission and the purpose of the label are simple as there is music from enthusiasts for enthusiasts!
For these enthusiasts, 40 seats will be given for the special opening concert with Alan Broadbent.
The
entrance fee is 35 € per person incl. 1x welcome drink and 1x
"Developing Story" pre-release CD, which normally will not be available
until its official release on 30 June 2017.

Sandoval "A time for love", was able to convince Alan Broadbent with
optimal production conditions by moving to the Abbey Road Studios in
London To record an album for jazz piano trio and symphonic orchestra
with their own compositions and pieces of the Great American songbook
together on 28 and 29 November 2015 with the London Metropolitan
Orchestra, drum legend Peter Erskine and long-time companion Harvie S on
the bass.
