Castleton, VT - KoSA Communications proudly presents the 18th annual KoSA Music Festival,
July 23- 27, 2013 (8 p.m)  held at the Casella Theatre of Castleton State College in Castleton, Vermont. 

After nearly two decades, the KoSA International Percussion Workshop, Drum Camp and Festival continues to deliver electrifying concerts which feature numerous internationally renowned artists, in rare Vermont appearances. This year’s performers include: Memo Acevedo (Tito Puente) Sergio Bellotti (Berklee College) , Gregg Bissonette (Ringo Star), Jason Bittner (Shadows Fall),  Eriko Daimo (Marimba artist),  Mario DeCiutiis (Kat Mallet artist), Frank Epstein (Boston Symphony), Dom Famularo (Drumset ambassador),  Daniel Glass (Royal Crown Revue) Aldo Mazza (Répercussion), Allan Molnar (Nelly Furtado), Jeff Queen (international snare drum champion),  Ron Reid (steel drums; Berklee College) , Marcus Santos (Brazilian master) Jeff Salisbury (Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley), Michael Taylor (West African Drumming), Chester Thompson (Phil Collins, Genesis), Glen Velez (Paul Winter Consort),  the nightly performances will also feature the KoSA rhythm section: Bob Quaranta (Piano), and Leo Huppert (Bass). Friday’s free concert features selected participants from the workshop.

Admission to all concerts (except for Friday night) is 10$ for adults, 5$ for students and children. Children twelve and under are admitted free upon presentation of a student I.D.  The KoSA 17 Faculty’s Grande Finale Gala Concert will take place on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at the Casella Theatre beginning at 8PM.  For more information, please call the box office at (802) 468-1119.
