The Mod Men of Nutty are the "Mad Men of Music; Nutty's CD, Jetsetter Jazz, to be Released June 26

Nutty's CD Release, Jetsetter Jazz! The Persuasive Sounds Of Nutty, are cool mash-ups of renowned pop/rock vocals and melodies over timeless jazz tracks.

Now that "Mad Men" is back on TV and Mid-Century styles and architecture are the essence of hipster chic, delve into the world of NUTTY--the band who performs Jetsetter Jazz--a cool mash-up of renowned pop/rock vocals and melodies gliding over timeless jazz tracks.
NUTTY harkens back to the time when 3-martini lunches were a staple and The Rat Pack held court at the Sands. The music was cool, and the band was hot. And these NUTTY cats play their asses off...artfully melding Sonny Moon's smooth, sassy vocals with arrangements that are seamless in their execution.
It's like a crazy dream where some classic rockers named Jimi, Sting, Ray Davies and Neil Young put their words, riffs and melodies into music written by some jazz cats named Henry Mancini, Dizzy, Mingus and the Duke.
NUTTY's sophomore CD release is appropriately titled Jetsetter Jazz! The Persuasive Sounds Of Nutty, consisting of 12 unbelievable cuts on one CD. Dig it...
"Purple Panther": merges Hendrix' "Purple Haze" with Mancini's "Pink Panther Theme"
"Manteca In A Bottle": Sting's "Message In a Bottle" collides with Dizzy Gillespie's     "Manteca."
"Tired of Strollin'": The Kinks' Ray Davies' "Tired of Waiting For You" with Mingus'     "Goodbye Pork Pie Hat" and "Strollin'."
"The Impossible Past": Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson composition, "Living In The Past"     is matched with Lalo Schifrin's "Mission Impossible Theme."
"Pleasant Valley Monkday": The Goffin/King-penned Monkees hit, "Pleasant Valley     Sunday" swings with a variety of snippets from Thelonious Monk.
"Five Nights": the Moody Blues' Justin Hayward number, "Nights in White Satin,"     with Brubeck's "Take Five."
"Frankenmunster": Edgar Winter's "Frankenstein" meets up with Mosher and     Marshall's "Munsters Theme."
"Rumba with the Devil": combines Van Halen/Roth's "Jamie's Crying" and Van Halen's "Runnin' With the Devil" with the Pablo Beltran Ruiz hit, "Sway."
"Same Old Song and Scat": Aerosmith's Tyler and Perry-penned "Same Old Song and     Dance," over an original jazz interpretation inspired by a Bill Evans recording.
"Cinnamon Doll": the Neil Young classic "Cinnamon Girl" over Duke Ellington's "Satin Doll."
"Hello Dolly Dagger:" Hendrix' "Dolly Dagger" over Lalo Schifrin's "Mannix Theme" with a couple of nods to Jerry Herman's Louis Armstrong version of "Hello,     Dolly" and Jimmy Smith's organ style.
"Baker's Bread": Bread vocalist David Gates' song, "The Guitar Man" with the Rodgers and Hart classic "My Funny Valentine" (made notable by Chet Baker).
NUTTY succeeds in making the songs sound familiar...laying the rock and pop bits over a bed of the jazzy stuff, blended, shaped, treated...with the utmost respect.
Nutty's World is depicted in the Music Video, "Nutty: Back In Black" which will premiere in conjunction with 8 other music videos at Dances with Films Festival on June 1st at the Chinese Theater in Hollywood (http://www.danceswithfilms.com).
