Fungisai Zvakavapano-Mashavave opens a new leaf in her musical career on Friday with a show at Jazz 105.
This comes after her successful trial at the Women in Jazz Festival in September last year at the same venue. She played alongside the likes of Kudzai Sevenzo, Jean Masters, Diana Samkange, Rute Mbangwa and Edith weUtonga Katiji, among others.
Though she received criticism for joining the line-up, Zvakavapano-Mashavave lived up to the billing and wowed revellers, much to the amazement of those who doubted her abilities.
