Rehoboth Beach’s smoothest autumn event returns for its 22nd year as the 2011 Rehoboth Beach Jazz Festival touches down Oct. 12-16 at various locations in the seaside resort town.
ResortQuest® by Wyndham Vacation Rentals is offering privately owned vacation rentals in nearby Bethany Beach — ranging from oceanfront condos to secluded single-family vacation homes. ResortQuest is the Bethany Beach real estate and Bethany Beach vacation rental leader.
The five-day event features shows at three venues — the Rehoboth Convention Center, the Rehoboth Theatre of the Arts and Epworth Church. Entertainment will also be hosted by local bars and restaurants.
The festival opens Wednesday, Oct. 12, at the Convention Center with the inaugural Beebe Medical Center® “Music for the Cure” fundraiser for Cancer and Heart Health Initiatives. The event will be headlined by Grammy®-nominated group, The Rippingtons, with opening act “Jazz Gets the Blues” featuring Brian Simpson, Nick Colionne, Steve Cole, Jeff Golub and Matt Marshak.
