Located near the Bukhan River in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi, the area near the Gail Art Museum is an ideal route for going for a spin in the car as it includes numerous arboretums, valleys and streams. These include The Garden of Morning Calm, Cheongpyeong Recreational Forest, Nature and Stars Astronomical Observatory, Noksu Valley, Myeongji Valley and Hyeondeung Temple. Every third Saturday, the museum holds a classical music concert. The one scheduled for Oct. 15 will feature jazz vocalist Lee Mi-bae and begins at 7 p.m.
