This setting would for them change the rules and conventions these instruments often could succumb to in more conventional jazz settings. It documents the spontaneity of interplay and vastness of musical textures this setting would for them entail, a music developed through years of playing and improvising together, and a constant exchange of musical ideas and perspectives.
