JazzFest 2012 on August 4th and 5th at Hannah Nicole Vineyards and Winery to Feature a Wide-Range of Styles, From Smooth Jazz and R&B to Big Band Style Music

Winery Serves as the Backdrop for First Weekend-Long Jazz Festival, Sponsored By Diablo Magazine

Hannah Nicole Vineyards and Winery’s JazzFest Weekend 2012 on August 4th and 5th will feature a wide-variety of Jazz for the listening enjoyment of Bay Area music enthusiasts.
While this is the third year that wine lovers have enjoyed jazz music in the vineyard, this year marks Hannah Nicole’s first official JazzFest, which is being sponsored by Diablo Magazine, among other media and corporate sponsors. The event will feature a wide-range of Jazz, from Smooth Jazz and R&B to Big Band Style Music.
The Christian Tamburr Quintet, The Simon Rowe Quartet and seasoned jazz recording artist, songwriter and educator, Nicolas Bearde, The Kimodo Quintet, The Pan Handlers and The Big Burg Band will be among the 13 ensembles that will perform on three stages.
During the two-day, family friendly event, the winery will be open only to JazzFest attendees. Guests will be able to bring a picnic to enjoy while watching the music on the picturesque winery grounds with Hannah Nicole’s wines, including numerous 2012 medal winners from the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition. A bay area mobile restaurant will also be on-hand to satisfy a gourmet palate with an eclectic mix of tasty dishes.
“When we began planning our 2012 JazzFest, we received an overwhelming response from musicians across the world who were looking to come together with us to deliver a top notch event filled with the best of the best in Jazz,” said Neil Cohn, co-founder and CEO for Hannah Nicole Vineyards and Winery. “This event will rival other jazz festivals in cities from Monterey to San Francisco. We’re excited to bring such a talented line-up of world-class musicians to the East Bay.”
“We look forward to a groove-filled weekend, giving us the opportunity to engage music aficianados across all genres who will love the fresh, upbeat styles that will envelope the vineyard,” added Cohn.
