«I am honored to be involved with the 7 Virtual Jazz Club’s Global Competition,» says Marcela Breton (Jazz Journalist Association). «a platform for talented musicians from around the world – veterans & newcomers, women & men, young & old – performing on stage, in the studio, in coffeehouses, bookstores, and libraries, expanding the boundaries of jazz, reinvigorating its traditions, and exploring new directions and connections. The videos submitted to the contest by these diverse musicians, and made available over the web to a universal audience, are sophisticated, original, daring, and inventive; they demonstrate the global reach of jazz, and are helping to shape the future of the music in rich and unexpected ways».

Dubi Lenz (Artistic Director “The Red Sea Jazz Festival”) says: «It’s great to be a jury member on this competition - what a great opportunity to listen to musicians you won’t have otherwise a chance to listen to, play them in my radio show, considering inviting them to the Red Sea Winter Jazz Festival».
