UK: Penguin Cafe + Peter Broderick & friends LONDON Southbank Centre / Royal Festival Hall September 9

Expose your ears to genre-defying music from two Erased Tapes acts, as we celebrate the lauded record label’s 10th anniversary with Penguin Cafe and Allred & Broderick.

Founded by Arthur Jeffes in 2009, Penguin Cafe brings together a talented and disparate group of musicians from the likes of Suede, Gorillaz and Razorlight.
Initially performing music by his father Simon Jeffes’ world-renowned Penguin Cafe Orchestra, Arthur has since put his composer talents to work to create new and unique music, releasing three acclaimed albums of fresh, innovative and beautiful music that excites both new fans and the worldwide base of original PCO followers.

Joining Penguin Cafe in this special show are Allred & Broderick, a duo project between Peter Broderick and his musical partner David Allred. Hear them perform armed with nothing but their voices, a violin and an upright bass, performing the minimalistic music from their debut album, Find The Ways.
