Mr Gone brings the classic music of Weather Report and Herbie Hancock’s Headhunters & Mwandishi bands to life, along with original compositions and extended group improvisations. It all adds up to an amazing musical experience!
Formed by saxophonist Peter Furlan and multi-keyboardist Neil Alexander, for this performance they are joined by drummer extraordinaire Richie Morales (Spyro Gyro, The Brecker Brothers, Stevie Wonder, Mike Stern, Dave Vaentin, and many others), and very special guest Eddie Henderson on trumpet. Eddie Henderson first gained recognition as a charter member of the legendayr Herbie Hancock Mwandishi Band (1970-1973), and then went on to play with Art Blakey, Joe Henderson, and many others.
