Synopsis « La voix est libre» est un documentaire poétique explorant les mécanismes de l’improvisation sous toute ses formes : musique instrumentale, slam, danse, musique traditionnelle, jazz, cirque, peinture... A l’heure d’internet, de Paris à Beyrouth en passant par Tunis, le combat est quotidien contre l’uniformisation et l’obscurantisme. Le combat est quotidien pour l’appétence à la curiosité, à l’imprévu, à la liberté de créer et au soutien des croisements artistiques. Que ce soit dans un square de Barbès, sur le front de mer à Beyrouth ou les toits de Sidi Bou Saïd, le film ambitionne de mettre en lumière ces zones de résistance, de partage et ces initiatives singulières que sont les festivals « La voix est libre » (Paris), « Irtijal » (Beyrouth), « Chantier libre » (Tunis). Un documentaire qui choisit l'art comme point de départ pour interroger l’état du monde. Un documentaire de combat, un manifeste de l’improvisation sous toutes ses formes. Une revendication de l’éphémère dans l’art, un défi avec l’instant. Un appel au voyage donc, à la rencontre de l’indéterminé en Europe, au Moyen-Orient et au Maghreb, en compagnie des artistes de nombreuses nationalités. "La voix est libre" is a poetic documentary that explores the mechanisms of improvisation in all its forms: instrumental music, slam, dance, traditional music, jazz, circus arts, painting... In the age of the internet, a daily battle is being waged from Paris to Beirut, via Tunis, against standardization and obscurantism, a constant struggle to maintain a thirst for curiosity and the unexpected, to defend creative freedom and support artistic interconnections. Whether in a park in the Barbès neighborhood of Paris, at the seaside in Beirut, or on the rooftops of Sidi Bou Saïd in northern Tunisia, this film seeks to shine a light on these hot spots of resistance and shared aspirations, focusing on the innovative festivals La Voix est Libre (Paris), Irtijal (Beirut), and Chantier Libre (Tunis, Le kef). This documentary takes art as a point of departure to question the state of the world today. It is a militant film, a manifesto on improvisation in all its facets; a celebration of the ephemeral in art, of confronting the moment. It is an invitation to travel and to encounter the undefined in Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa in the company of artists of diverse nationalities.
