Armen Nalbandian to Release Multimedia Art Installation Retrospective
On May 14th 2016, Armen Nalbandian debuted ”Listen" a temporary
multimedia art installation via his website www.armennalbandian.com.
The retrospective showcased highlights from his 10 album oeuvre while
examining the relationship between art and its audience.
The project’s aim to straddle the line between artistic timelessness
and the concept of temporary technological connection by showcasing
videos of people listening to his selected compositions from his 10
albums, for the first time, with the video subsequently expiring after
it is played. The installation continually evolved every hour
showcasing a new listener.
Nalbandian is currently developing his 11th album. Details of which
are not yet known.
