(1)  "FIND YOUR PLACE" RECEIVES AN INDEPENDENT MUSIC AWARD (IMA) IN THE USA

The USA Independent Music Awards recently announced the results of the IMA Vox Pop 14th annual poll which is the fan-determined portion of the prestigious international program for independent artists and releases.  "FIND YOUR PLACE" (an organ trio with me on flute,Bernie Senensky on Hammond B3 organ, Anthony Michelli on drums and Pacy Shulman of Hilo Studio at the sound board) won in the Jazz Instrumental category.  The album is available here:


NOTE:  The Independent Music Awards (produced by Music Resource Group LLC) receives entries from nearly 100 countries on six continents, and its active support places top-ranked indie artists (both winners and nominees) in front of millions of industry decision makers and music consumers, around the world.

I think I can say without fear of hyperbole that "Are You Leaving Me" is one of the most remarkable things you will EVER hear!…Four minutes of pained but utter bliss (…with Aretha……all alone…at the keyboard…and it’s a demo…)
