This album is a live recording of a concert by Quincy Jones and his Orchestra that took place in Ludwigshafen in 1961. Quincy Jones orchestra was uncommonly superb. The ensemble consisted of a great deal of young talents, such as Freddie Hubbard and Benny Baily on trumpet, and Sahib Shihab on saxophone. Some jazz enthusiasts believe that this phase in Quincy Jones life was his best as a jazz musician.
