starring Terese Genecco and Her Little Big Band
at The Iridium in New York City
Wednesday, December 23rd, 2015
with shows at 8:30 and 10:30 pm
Terese
Genecco (Teh-REECE Jeh-NECK-oh) & Her Little Big Band performed 100
shows at The Iridium between 2009 and the present becoming known as
“the longest-running nightclub act on Broadway” and winning multiple
awards and international accolades for their efforts.
Following the lead of her
musical Rat Pack influences, Genecco performs swinging jazz
arrangements of holiday classics plus brand new tunes sure to enter the
lexicon of traditional holiday jazz in the future. A generous
entertainer, whom The New York Times’ Stephen Holden calls “a natural
extrovert whose combined roles of performer, bandleader and M.C. make
her a gregarious cheerleader for the brassy ‘50s and ‘60s Las Vegas
lounge music she adores,” Genecco is always happy to share her stage
with some of New York City’s finest singers so don’t be surprised if
cabaret, jazz, and Broadway luminaries stop by for a drink and a song!
It’s always a party when Terese Genecco & Her Little Big Band are in
the house.
Ticket price is $30 plus a $15 food/bev minimum. Purchase from the box office by calling (212) 582-2121 or online at www.theiridium.com
