American/Russian Solidarity on Upcoming Album
At a time of great political and social uncertainty between "us" and "them", the dynamic post-cold war partnership of the Russian Federation's Oleg Kireyev (saxophone) and America's Keith Javors (piano) continues to flourish. Following up on their critically-acclaimed debut record Rhyme and Reason, the tandem are in the final production stages of a new album featuring jazz trumpet luminary Tom Harrell alongside first-call NYC musicians Ben Williams and E.J. Strickland. The upcoming outing, appropriately entitled The Meeting, bridges the cultural influences of two continents and offers new compositions by the co-leaders. Don't miss this important meeting, scheduled for this Winter! Read more HERE.
