The music on the seven-track album veers from the pastoral to the disquieting in a soundworld composed of bass clarinet and electric
guitar put through a grinder of digital and analogue effects. Each track was created without premeditation and what followed was as much
a surprise to the musicians as to the listener. Themes and melodies emerge through storm clouds of noise, giving way to clear skies of
crystalline meditation.
Pete Furniss and Haftor Medbøe are Scottish based musicians well known to audiences that span classical, jazz and experimental music scenes.
