Dimitrije Vasiljevic
is an award-winning New York-based jazz pianist and composer from
Serbia whose music weaves Balkan motifs into the subtle flavors of
European jazz. Following a recent successful concert at Carnegie Hall,
Vasiljevic will debut at the Kennedy Center on May 12 at 6pm showcasing
his original piano compositions and he will also perform works of some
well-known American jazz masters in his own arrangements. FREE
