Blam!-Attached / Detached (Minced Oaths 2014)

The Quartet's newest album 'attached/detached', produced by Tom Guy, focuses to create a soothing collection of a reflective nature. Their music offers a haven for one's imagination and thoughts to wonder throughout these contemplative tracks. The addition of a string quartet in some introspective moments also directs the listener to certain classical elements.
The record is patterned with sublime textures of music, as every piece has a different feel, from european jazz to folk, free improv to latin-american. The variety of sounds, styles and all this coupled with the clear enjoyment exhibited by the musicians in their work result in an album that is bound to deliver Blam's new musical approach whilst also reinforcing the band's commitment to produce a simple formula of creativity and uniqueness.
