Drummer Karl Latham appears on the latest releases from prominent German Jazz musicians Wolfgang Lackerschmid and Johannes Mossinger.
Latham appears on The Wolfgang Lackerschmid Connection "Magic Brewery" release, alongside renowned bassist Mark Egan and rising star USA born trumpeter Ryan Carniaux, currently residing in Cologne, Germany. In September the group toured 14 cities in Austria and Germany, including a live recording for Bayerische Rundfunk in Augsburg, Germany. The recording is available on Amazon at Amazon Wolfgang Lackerschmid Magic Brewery download and on Itunes at "Magic Brewery" ITunes download.
"Magic Brewey" is currently the Jazz & Ambient InFlight featured release on Lufthansa Airlines. Latham has performed alongside John Lee, Michael Urbaniak, Attila Zoller, Cameron Brown, Ed Cherry and Georg Wadenius among others with Wolfgang Lackerschmid since 1994.
Latham also appears on the November 2013 release "December Suite" by Johannes Mossinger with acclaimed saxophonist Joel Frahm. This recording features all free compositions. "December Suite" is available on Itunes at Johannes Mossinger December Suite on ITunes. The Johannes Mossinger Quartet toured in Europe in November 2013. In March, the quartet will be the "house" band at the 2014 Internationale Burghausen Jazzwoche.
Latham is a member with guitarist John Hart, of the collective group led by bassist Mark Egan Unit1 and is featured on the critically acclaimed 2012 release Egan/Latham/Hart "Unit1". Latham is also the co-leader of Big Funk with Don Braden. Both Unit1 and Big Funk will be heading into the studio in early 2014 to record their next releases.
In Fall of 2014 a recording with Ryan Carniaux, Mark Egan and Latham with special guest Nick Rolfe will be released worldwide.

Latham recently relocated to Warwick, NY and will be recording several new projects at his home studio.
