Mack Avenue Records is proud to announce the signing of trumpeter/composer Sean Jones with GuessWorks and Unlimited Myles for worldwide exclusive management and booking, respectively. The announcement comes as Jones prepares to record his upcoming album.

Since his career began in 2004 with Mack Avenue Records, Jones has held the lead trumpet chair in Wynton Marsalis' Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra for more than a decade, and in 2011 toured Europe with Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, and Marcus Miller as a direct nod to trumpeter Miles Davis' legacy. Jones, who now serves as the artistic director of the Pittsburgh Jazz Orchestra as well as the Cleveland Jazz Orchestra, is a three-time DownBeatMagazine Rising Star winner. He currently has six albums available on Mack Avenue Records: No Need For Words (2011), The Search Within (2009), Kaleidoscope (2007), Roots(2006), Gemini (2005), and Eternal Journey (2004).
