New Orleans Food, Wine and ‘All that Jazz’ Dinner

Bringing you a rare triple match of fine New Orleans style food with great Waipara Valley Wine, all served amongst a night of carefully selected jazz! Andrew Brown, Executive Chef, The George,  Nicolas Brown, Black Estate, winemaker and Harry Harrison, musician combine their talents. 
 

Jazz in the Dome & Jazz for Lunch

A great line-up of acts from around the world, the country and the city will appear in the Dome in Hagley Park from Wednesday through to Sunday. 

Jazz in the Dome at 8.00pm features Kitty, Daisy & Lewis (UK), Nathan Haines (NZ), Vanilau, Maxwell, Baker (NZ), Jennine Bailey, Naomi Ferguson and Mary Coughlan (NZ/Ireland)

Jazz for Lunch

Jazz for Lunch at 1.00pm will showcase:
Ariana Tikao (Wellington),
Shiels & Wardrop (Christchurch),
Radius, Harry Harrison and Justine S (Christchurch)
Toni Randle (Sydney).

Mary Coughlan’s timeless and endless talent comes to the fore in this show of blues and classics selected from the repertoire of songs she has recorded over 25 years of an extraordinary career.
Considered musical royalty in Ireland, she comes to us direct from Sydney following a tour in Australia with Tom Rainey and recording a new album in Ireland. This will be a treat.

Sunday the Big Band comes out with a blast! Stacked with some of the sharpest players around the city they will knock your socks off with rendiitions from composers including Duke Ellington and Maria Schnieder.
