Come out and hear Jaffa Road at Lula Lounge in our only Toronto Show this winter.
We will be joined by special guests JUMP BABYLON from Montreal for this show.
Replete with catchy hooks, massive horns, crunchy guitar and above all well crafted songs “Soldier Woman,” the debut album from Jump Babylon, weaves together country-rock tales of the immigrant experience, reggae paraphrasing of liturgical poetry and songs of young adult angst. Jump Babylon was founded in 2011 by members of Shtreiml, Montreal’s veterans of the New Jewish Music scene and pioneers of bringing scorching klezmer to bars, festivals and concert halls across North America and Europe.

Award from Folk Music Ontario
Back in October right around the busyness of our CD release concert (many thanks again to everyone who helped out, came out and made that event such a success). Folk Music Ontario (formerly known as Ontario Council of Folk Festivals) awarded Jaffa Road's Ana El Na one of their Songs From The Heart Awards. The same tune was also chosen by the Sephardic Music Festival for their annual compilation CD,
We are also excited that Ana El Na and Bio Kalah were selected for the URJ Transcontinental Music’s new compilation CD, “Ruach 5773.” The CD will be published in February – stay tuned for ordering info.
