NEW ZEALAND: Jazz Festival announces first shows.



FIRST SHOWS ANNOUNCED

We are thrilled to announce the first line-up for the Cavell Leitch New Zealand Jazz & Blues Festival.
Following a sold out show in 2007, Bonnie Raitt returns to Christchurch. With the release of her 19th studio albumSlipstream, her biggest Billboard chart debut in almost 20 years, she shows she is truly deserving of her reputation as an American institution.

THE PRESS JAZZ IN THE DOME

The Press Jazz in the Dome will be presented in the Geo Dome in Hagley Park with four great shows.
Kitty, Daisy and Lewis are a trio of siblings from UK, playing R & B, swing, jump blues, country and western and rock ‘n roll. Get a taste of them here.

HAVE A HAPPY CHRISTMAS

Mark Vanilau, Warren Maxwell and Louis Baker,three Antipodean minstrels collaborate with a focus on vocal harmony reminiscent of Crosby, Stills and Nash but with contemporary elements and original songs. Mark singing at the Silver Scroll Awards.

Mary Coughlan, Jennine Bailey and Naomi Fergusoncelebrate three of the great women of jazz as they choose their favourite songs by  Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald and Etta James. Watch here
