Miles Davis alumni, keyboardist John Beasley and master drummer Ndugu Chancler, joined by Yellowjackets bassist Jimmy Haslip form 3 Brave Souls and baptize their jazz with contagious and penetrating funk grooves. Jumping out of the box with them is cosmic vocalist Dwight Trible. They guarrantee you listenable, danceable melodic music, bringing the funk and plenty of downhome soul, with an undercurrent of jazz sensibility to move you to the dance floor!
Recently they released their self-named album on the Challenge Record label. At this point they are considered for different nominations for the Grammy Awards 2012.
