Turning Point is the debut big band album by guitarist Chris Flaherty. It is full of finely crafted melodies, lush section writing and captivating solos that will keep you listening from start to finish.
The album covers a wide range of styles, including straight-ahead, swing, funk and a dash of latin, all injected with a dose of cool, contemporary, modern jazz vibes. All tracks have been composed and arranged by the bands leader who says:
" I approached this project without any pre-conceptions of what the final outcome would be, I just wanted to write an album that expressed whatever I was feeling at the time and see what it came up with"
