Keith Karns is an Alaskan born trumpet player, composer and bandleader. Keith's quartet and big band are an up and coming presence across the Midwest and its members are some of the most talented young musicians in the country. Keith has been recognized as a trumpeter and composer as a finalist in the 2007 National Trumpet Competition, 2010 OWL Studios Emerging Jazz Artist Competition, and the 2012 New York First Music Competition. Many of Keith's compositions for Jazz Ensemble are available through RGM INC. Keith uses Torpedo Bags exclusively to transport and protect all of his trumpets. Keith's debut album "THOUGHT AND MEMORY" Will be released on May 1st 2012.
