„Revealing the Romanian Traditional Music on Jazz” released by Romanian pianist and composer Florin Raducanu, won the prize for the Album of the Year 2011


"The CD „Revealing the Romanian Traditional Music on Jazz” released by Romanian pianist and composer Florin Raducanu, won the prize for the Album of the Year 2011 awarded by Muza Foundation, the Romanian Ministry of Culture and National Heritage and The Romanian Union of Composers and Musicologists.
„Revealing the Romanian Traditional Music on Jazz”  is an original synthesis of elements of Romanian traditional music and jazz and features live recordings performed by Florin Raducanu and his band featuring Dalila Cernatescu(panflute) at the "Porgy & Bess" jazz club in Vienna, Austria, in October 2010.

Florin Raducanu is a pianist, composer and professor at “George Enescu” Music High School in Bucharest and the founder of the Jazz Department at the George Enescu Music High School. He has also performed extensively on Romanian and European Radio and TV
Channels. Florin Raducanu is the founder of the Art Factory Pedagogy Project “workshop-concerts” series, which aims to reveal the synthetic role of jazz music as a creative bonding element of world musical heritages. He also won The Prize for Jazz Symphonic Composition awarded by the Romanian Union of Composers and Musicologists in 2007 and was voted Romanian Jazz musician of the year in 2009."
