“This is my fifth album with guitarist Rob Koral for 33 records. However, than just making a new CD, it is so omething that we have grown in to organi gigging, song writing and recording together. It has become inevitable to do as strengths and natural leanings.
The idea of BLUE COMMOTION is to lean heavily on the blues side of jazz of the likes of Willie Dixon and Mud ddy Waters, as well as some of our own mat lesser known sultry Billie Holiday nuumbers. We use grand piano, double bass the jazz feel and sensibility that we e all love. This band is definitely for the co hope and believe will tempt and dra aw in new listeners. The response from aud music on gigs is exhilarating.
The musicians we chose are peo ople that we have played with a fair bit o Williams on piano for his fire and drive; Paul Robinson on drums brings grea that straddles both genres, of courrse Paul is well known for his work with chose Steve Thompson on bass, perh haps a little less known, but a very fine play
