Jazz FM, Neapolitan Music and Ingenious have unveiled £2m worth of investment to launch the UK’s first outdoor jazz festival.
The Love Supreme Jazz Festival will be a three-day outdoor camping event taking place in Brighton during the summer of 2013 and promises to feature some of the world’s best jazz musicians.
The financial backing for the festival has been realised through Ingenious Entertainment VCTS, which have previously invested in Creamfields, Eighties music festival Rewind Festival and Taste of Christmas, an interactive food exhibition featuring celebrity chefs such as Jamie Oliver, Heston Blumenthal and Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall. The latest share offer aims to raise up to £25m to back other similar events and is open for investments of at least £3,000 until April 5 this year.
