Gambia: The Magic of Modou Cham - Ace of the Super Eagles Jazz Band of the Gambia

Modou Cham is one of the most prolific and influential Gambian saxophonist, Singer, Music Arranger and percussionists in the history of Gambian music, he makes an invaluable addition to the extensive Super Eagles legacy.
Few artists have been as successful at fusing Congolese music, Afro Cuban and Gambian music, these three genres as Modou Cham, an undisputed master of these styles. A pioneer of the Super Eagles movement, Modou Cham has achieved international super-stardom with the Super Eagles.
He is a Gambian musician and was born in a goldsmith family of Father Pa Beran Cham and Mom Ya Ngone Nyang. He was a great a drummer, a conga player, a, composer and a vocalist.
Modou Cham started his musical career at the Foyer Ballet and drama group which progressed to be the Foyer jazz band. The original band members included the following: Guitarist Robert Adams, Laba Sosseh Lead Vocalist, Ebou Cham, Jimmy Coron, Louis Carayol, koto Buru Buru Nyang, Badou Jobe and Pa "Jatta" Njie,
