Wrexham International Jazz Festival features artists such as Gary Potter, who has been voted best guitarist in the country not once but three times. Gary has also been awarded the National Award for Jazz and he plays at Wrexham’s memorial hall on Friday night.
On Saturday evening, the International Jazz Concert takes to the stage, featuring a guitar set from the legendary American guitarist, Jimmy Bruno. There will also be a range of jazz-themed events running throughout the weekend, including workshops and participatory music sessions where people, are encouraged to come together and ‘jam’.
