UK: ChippyJazz jazz festival.Sept 25 2011

This year, we have even more venues and artists than last year. For our evening concert, we are proud to present a fantastic medley of vintage 1920s , 30s and 40s jazz music to suit all tastes. This is the only ticket event of the day. All other events are free to attend/
Keith Nichol’s Rythmakers with Joan Viskeant will feature in the final fantastic show in this year's ChippyJazz jazz festival.

The ever popular CN Allstars will be playing outside from noon till one in the lower car park as well as in the afternoon sclool jazz band concert in the Town Hall from two till four thirty. Playing on the same program will be the Warriner School Jazz Band (Bloxham) and the King Eddies Revival Big Band (Stratford upon Avon).
We have two new venues for free gigs this year. The Red Lion Inn will be hosting an afternoon concert from one till three featuring Fiddle Bop - Gypsy Style Jazz whilst Number 24 CafĂ© are hosting Richard Wargent - Saxophonist from 11:30 till 2. Weather permitting Dickie White’s Jazz Allstars Walking Jazz Band will be walking and playing around the town from 1:15 till 3:35 and the Chequers will once again feature the Spats Langham Trio in what is always a very popular gig.
Eric Stevens Jazz Band make a welcome return to the Crown and Cushion from 2:30 till 6:30 as do Perry and his Trio from 6:30 till 8:30.
The Ian English Quartet are appearing in a free gig at the Chipping Norton Theatre from 5 till 7.
Nick Gill is appearing twice at the Old Mill first with Mike Wills from 2 till 4:30 and then with Ray Butts from 7:30 till 9:30.
The Softshoe Trio will be appearing at Bitter and Twisted from 7 till 8:30 and last but certainly not least The Blue Boar will host the Evenlode Jazz band from 6 till 8.
