Billy Hart, Phil Markowitz, and Ron McClure - these recordings cover the
various periods of Trane's life. The early period by the altered blues
'Locomotion,' and mid period ethnic-influenced 'Olé' and 'Equinox.' The
later years by the rare 'Reverend King' and 'Compassion' from the
Meditations album.
